About Marley Spoon:

  • Is Marley Spoon a subscription service?
    Yes and no! Each week you'll automatically receive great dishes – but we call it a flexible subscription, as you can always change the frequency, number of portions or food choices and skip or pause the service when you need to. For New South Wales and ACT deliveries, we require 6 days notice prior to the delivery date for order or address amendments. For Victoria and Queensland deliveries, we require 7 days noticed prior to the delivery date for order or address amendments due to overnight shipping.
  • Is there a minimum order amount?
    Recipes have a minimum order of two portions. Each order has a minimum order of four portions, e.g. 2x2 portions and cook two different meals. You could order two portions of beef and two fish, or four of the beef, if you want. Our ingredients stay fresh for at least four days.
  • Do you do breakfasts, lunches and desserts?
    We don't have any breakfast or lunch options at the moment, but we believe any leftovers make an excellent snack for the next day!
  • How can I contact Customer Service?
    Just call 02 6145 2910 or send us an e-mail at contact@marleyspoon.com.au. Our customer care team are available on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 7am - 7pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am-5pm & Saturday from 8am-12pm.
  • I forgot my password, how do I get a new one?
    Click "Login" on our startpage and then select "forgot password?". You'll be redirected to a new page where you can reset your password, which we'll send to you via e-mail.
  • Is it possible to change my order after it has been placed?
    Yes! Go to "My Account" to edit your order up to 6 days before delivery. Please note that QLD and VIC deliveries require 7 days notice due to overnight shipping.

Recipes and ingredients:

  • Where do you source your ingredients from?
    We work with carefully selected producers to guarantee the quality of our ingredients. We always opt for the sustainable options when possible, our chicken is free-range and our meat is humanely farmed – just to ensure you're only getting the best stuff out there. We also try to source most of our ingredients from within Australia unless there is a good reason not to.
  • Do you offer vegetarian dishes?
    You'll always find vegetarian options in our weekly line-up of seven inspiring dishes to choose from. Our chefs aim to offer a good mix or vegetarian, fish and meat options so there's something to suit every taste.
  • How long will the ingredients stay fresh after delivery?
    Our cool packs ensure that chilled ingredients – such as meat, fish and dairy –stay that way in transit. They can be stored in the fridge for 4 more days.
  • When and how can I see the recipes the following week?
    We send a weekly e-mail to our customers to announce the recipes for the coming weeks. These are also viewable on the website.
  • Do I need ingredients in addition to the goods delivered?
    Yes, just a few pantry staples such as olive oil, salt and sugar, which we assume people have at home. When you order you can see what extras you'll need for each recipe, plus we'll send you a reminder with your shipping confirmation.
  • Do you offer healthy, low calorie/low carb options?
    We do! We have a large selection of "Healthy Choice" dishes each week - four healthy options in both our 2-person box and our 4-person box. "Healthy Choice" dishes range between 350-600 calories, using whole grains, lots of high fibre vegetables and lean meats, and little oil, sugar and salt.

Delivery:

  • Where does Marley Spoon deliver?
    We currently deliver to Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Wollongong, Newcastle and NSW's Central Coast. If you're not sure about delivery to your area, give us a call. The rest of Australia is coming soon.
  • When are the boxes delivered?
    We offer five delivery days nationally - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Our delivery times vary, please call us for more information. For New South Wales and ACT deliveries, we require 6 days notice prior to the delivery date for order or address amendments. For Victoria and Queensland deliveries, we require 7 days noticed prior to the delivery date for order or address amendments due to overnight shipping. All Marley Spoon delivery is free of charge!
  • How are the ingredients kept fresh during transit?
    We ship our recipe boxes in cooled vehicles, meaning less packaging and less risk of food spoiling. The parcels will never be on the road for longer than 24 hours, guaranteeing optimal freshness.
  • Do I have to pay for shipping?
    Shipping costs are included in your purchase - no hidden costs!

Membership and boxes

  • What boxes do you offer?
    We currently offer two options: a 2-person and a 4-person box. Both allow you to choose how many nights a week you'd like to cook with Marley Spoon.
  • What is the difference between the two boxes?
    The 2-person box is ideal for 2 adults. The 4-person box can feed up to 4 adults, so families with young children will have extra for hungry parents or a little left over for lunch the next day, housemates can cook together, and dinner parties are a breeze!
  • How can I switch boxes?
    Simply visit your account. Under the ‘Settings’ tab, you can make changes to your box type and delivery preferences.
  • What is a flexible subscription?
    A flexible subscription means you decide which weeks to receive Marley Spoon deliveries, and you only pay for what you receive. Visit your account area to switch weeks on and off. You can plan up to 8 weeks in advance!
  • How do I cancel my subscription?
    You can easily do so in your account area under "My settings", but we'll be sad to see you go. Please note that you will have to cancel your subscription at least 6 days before your next delivery due to production timelines.

Fruit box

  • What is the fruit box?
    The fruit box is filled with seasonal fruit and delivered to your doorstep alongside your Marley Spoon recipe box. Every box contains up to 8 varieties of fruit, coming in at 3.5 kg of deliciousness per delivery.
  • How does it work?
    The fruit box is available to food box customers, which means you can get your weekly vitamin kick and dinner all in one delivery! You can choose exactly which weeks you’d like to receive your fruit box, by switching deliveries on and off in your account area. Curious to find out more about our fruit box? Great!   • What types of fruit do I receive?
    You’ll get a box with 3,5 kg of seasonal, fresh and locally-sourced fruit. With every box, we’ll feature a special type of fruit. This could mean something exotic, like mango or pineapple, or maybe a fruit at its seasonal peak. Fruit stays fresh & firm for 4-5 days, which means you have plenty of time to snack, bake, or blend it.
  • What does it cost?
    A weekly delivery of fresh fruit is: $24.90. We save you an additional trip to the supermarket and deliver for free.
  • When can I expect my fruit box?
    Good things come in pairs, so you’ll always get your fruit box delivered with your Marley Spoon recipe box. You can add or remove the fruit box from your order just like you would with your recipe box.
