Biography

As Culinary Creative, Sophie brings her love for delicious, fresh, home-cooked food to Marley Spoon. A love of the kitchen from a very young age saw Sophie complete a degree in Food Design and Culinary Arts in her native New Zealand. This led to work in a design agency, then to creating food content for clients such as Cuisine Magazine, the Delicious Dunedin cookbook and Miele's Masterclass cookbooks. While loving all aspects of cooking, it's food styling that is her real passion. " Food should evoke a mood; from how you look at it to how it makes you feel, and the way it brings people together around the table," she says.
